Ok, so I went to bed and realized when I woke up for a drink of water that I have forgotten to write on my blog for the second day. So...here I am at 1:45am and I am writing. In all honestly the past couple of days have been very uneventful. Sundays are dead around here. All I did yesterday and today is rehearse my scene for John Kirb's Tuesday class and write on the screenplay yesterday. Then today I just wrote. I did go to dinner to watch MNF. Bret Favre beat his old team. Next Sunday I'll have to do the same to watch the Colts play on Sunday Night.
Tomorrow I have nothing planned except my Tuesday night class. Should be fun. We will run the scene for John tomorrow. I have noticed that he has a particular thing in mind and you need to figure out how to get the scene to that place.
I also found out from a friend that Saturday afternoon there is a Casting Director's workshop. This week the featured CD is one who casted "Transformers" and the next "Freddy Kruger" movie. I have to supply a headshot and resume and they will supply a monologue for me to do. It's a good way to network and make contacts. Not sure if I'm going to do it or not but I am leaning towards it. I would have to leave my Saturday class early. We'll see.
So it was freezing here today. It dropped to 75!!! And me without my earmuffs! I went to get in the truck at about 5:00 and it was sooooo pleasent. About 70 and NO humidity. I'll say one thing about yesterday and today. I saw my first cloud!!! There was one...yes...one cloud in the sky yesterday. Now today there was no cloud except over LA. Burban is, what they call, over the hill from LA. A small string of mountains separate LA from Burbank, North Hollywood, Van Nuys etc. The Hollywood sign sits on the opposite side of the hill that I am on. Anyway. Today when i was driving downtown towards the mountains I could see that on the other side it was completely hazy and cloudy. I would even say smoggy. It was odd. It had been clear all day and the clouds didn't move in a two hour span.
Ok. It's late and I'm tired.
I hope you all have a great day!!

Hey babe! Good luck at your class tonight. I hope it goes really well! Let me know.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weather while you've got it. Even that one cloud. IF you end up coming back home to IN in January, you'll be coming home to the worst part of Winter...yuck! So, enjoy it while you can.
Love you!
