Just for the record it took me ten minutes to figure out how to spell eighteen. It's two words put together. There should be two "Ts"! I'll let Webster know. You know that was his first name. Yeah, he and his brother came up with the dictionary. They went with Webster instead of his brother's name because it was Joaquin and ironically no one could spell it.
So another lesson learned today. If you are waiting to turn left, the light turns red and you are the second car in line...you are obligated to run the light. It's a law I think. Everywhere I go I see the light turn red and two cars go through it turning left. I saw a third car go through today. Oh my heavens. All hell broke loose. Honking, yelling, cussing, spitting. And the other motorists were bad too. Seriously this poor guy got honked and yelled at from all directions. I even think I saw his passenger yelling at him.
Ok. So no headshots today. Nancy's car broke down and she had to get it fixed. So now I have to wait an extra week to get this done. It's frustrating. So I went to Rent A Center...signed away my first born (sorry Conner) and got a couch to be delivered next Tuesday. I'm serious. They say no credit required but they asked me all but my junior high locker number on their application. I'm serious. He told me to fill it out completely. Well, I couldn't remember the Durango's license number, didn't think it was that important, so I didn't run out to look. I figured if you don't have to have credit you probably don't have to have a car to rent there. But since I was privilaged enough to have a vehicle I HAD to put it down. When I asked why I got a blank stare and the words "because that's what the paper says" came at me. Overall they were very nice and I have my couch coming. In the mean time it's still me and my card table and chairs.
So I came home and went for another walk. I thought about taking my umbrella, you know just in case, but then I laughed.
Toimorrow Danny Roebuck and I are doing lunch. You do lunch here, you don't have lunch. Everything is a task out here. Danny, some of you know, is a great character actor. He was the tallest FBI agent alongside Tommy Lee Jones in "The Fugitive" and "U.S. Marshalls". He was also in "We Were Soldiers" and most recently I saw him in an episode of "Dark Blue" on TNT.
From there I am thinking about going to different Background Casting agencies and giving them my resume.
So an early post tonight. I'm tired and ready or bed.
I hope all of you have a great day!
