Dateline: Day Eight

Well day eight ended on a sad note.  I got up at 5:20 and drove Todd to the airport.  It's funny how it just seemed like a really wierd vacation up until this point.  He got home safely and I am now here on my own.

First thing was to go to John DiAquino's at 10 and take part in my first acting lesson of the trip.  It was good.  We worked on using the fourth wall...or the audience...to push along our performance.  Actors...especially in theater...will look towards the audience when speaking of a person not on stage or a thought or dream.  It can be used on screen too.

I then went to Pricilla's Coffee House and met with Betsey who has been here for about six years.  She has done a few movies but mostly print ad commercial work.  She had a callback last night for a public service anouncement about smoking.  She gave me a lot of wonderful information and tips.  We had a nice chat.

I then went to Target and bought a mini refridgerator because my apartment didn't come with one.  Some other odds and ends were bought and then I went to Ralphs, the local grocerie store.  I bought milk, oj and bread.

Tomorrow should be good.  I meet with Jerry Gelb at some point to give him a few headshots and resumes...I'm not sure why. Then I meet with John DiAquino again but this time it's to work on CSA's Itheater.  He's working on the editing.

That's about it.  I hope you all have a great day!
Charles
