Dateline: Day Two

Ok.  This one will be short and sweet.  We got up this morning and changed hotels.  I had booked one casino hotel and one noncasino hotel.  I thought it would save money.  All it did was make us pack our stuff up last night and move this morning.  My mitake.  But we made it ok.  We checked in at 1:00 and had lunch watching the football games.  GO JETS!!!!  Colts play tomorrow night.

We walked the strip a little.  We went to MGM Grand, New York New York, Monte Carlo, The Tropicana, as well as the Hard Rock Cafe on the strip.  We then  had dinner at Dan Marino's restaraunt.  The prime rib was wonderful.  We actually met a couple where the man grew up in Muncie.  He saw my Colts shirt and commented. 

We then  grabbed the truck and cruised the strip and went downtown.  Downtown is old Vegas.  The Golden Nugget and other old casinos.  It was good.  The lights, for those of you who have never seen it, are unbelievable.  Alot of construction in the area have hurt the traffic flow.  Gridlock was the word of the day.  So we found a way around and got back halfway quick.

So we are here, tired, and ready to wake up early and trek to L.A. where I do have a place to stay through Friday.  We go to The Tonight Show Monday night and then go back to the room, or to a spors bar and watcch the Colts destroy the Dolphins. 

That's about it.  Todd turned 40 today and I didn't.
